In October 2004, once again, Elimetal expanded it's core capabilities with the signing of a new agreement, giving us exclusive rights to mass produce high tolerance aircraft components for the Defense and Aerospace industries. These parts include pump & engine control systems used primarily on Pratt & Whitney engines, thus solidifying our expertise in this field.

The introduction of these new aircraft components, required Elimetal to acquire additional capabilities including:
– Cylindrical internal grinding

– Cylindrical external grinding
– Honing
– Match grinding
– Lapping
– Brazing
– Pressure/Leakage testing
– Precision assembly work

In order to perform the above capabilities and fulfill the production requirements of these high tolerance components, advanced machinery and technology was acquired. At our St. Laurent facilities, we are presently capable of maintaining tolerances of
+/- .0001 with the use of our newly added manufacturing processes.
